Information About Victoria:
Personal Description:
I am a 32 year-old qualified teacher and have been teaching in the 11-18 age range for the past 6 years, although I have taught English to adults and younger children whilst living in Germany and Russia. I studied German and Russian at the University of Sheffield, then went on to work in Germany for 2 years before qualifying to become a teacher. Languages are my passion, and I am currently studying Spanish and Slovene myself.
Teaching Experience:
I began my teaching career teaching English in Freiburg, and then in St. Petersburg, where I gained a TEFL certificate. After having trained as a secondary school teacher from Lancaster University in 2003, I have been Head of German and Modern Foreign Languages, which is the current post I hold.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a patient tutor who looks to cater for individual needs, be it grammar exercises, oral conversation - you just let me know what you expect to get out of your sessions, and I will plan the tutoring accordingly!
