Personal Description:

I'm a 30-year-old English teacher. I was born in London and I am a native English speaker.

I'm qualified with a Cambridge Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults from Saxoncourt Teacher Training College in London. I also have a degree from Birmingham University.

Teaching Experience:

I have 6 years of teaching experience. I currently teach at Birkbeck College, The University of London, and New York University in London. I have also taught at Birmingham University, the University of Ferrara in Italy, and Linguarama Barcelona.

I teach English as a Foreign Language to adults at all levels from complete beginners to advanced level, English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and preparation for Cambridge exams such as IELTS, FCE and CAE. I teach all nationalities.

I also have a lot of experience tutoring children of all ages. I can help your child improve their English for school entrance exams, GSCEs or A'Levels, or simply help them with their school work.

I can provide excellent references.

Tutoring Approach:

I will prepare my classes carefully according to your individual needs. Most students want classes which cover all the skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing - but you may prefer to concentrate on one skill, grammar, or need to prepare for an exam. In the first lesson I will make a study plan with you to ensure that you get the maximum benefit from each lesson.
