Personal Description:
In my spare time, I enjoy reading children's literature, gardening and cooking and I am currently learning to play guitar. I enjoy travel and lived in Italy for two months where I attended a full time cooking course. I am committed to fitness, especially swimming and running.
Teaching Experience:
I have just completed a Primary PGCE (5-11) and achieved Qualified Teacher status. I will begin my first post at the start of the new academic year as a year 4 class teacher.
Whilst studying for my undergraduate degree in Geography I tutored children up to GCSE level in Maths, English, Science, Geography and Religious Education.
Tutoring Approach:
Naturally a dynamic, innovative and child-centred educator I bring a "WOW" factor to my lessons, which are consistently described as "outstanding". I always have a wealth of original and very creative ideas, which are demonstrated in my teaching and recorded in my portfolio. A happy and confident teacher, I like to make the children laugh as well as help them learn.
