Information About Jennifer:
Personal Description:
I am warm, honest and approachable.
Throughout my life I have been enormously passionate about the Arts and Literature, and have been privileged enough to have had a number of opportunities to work and practise within the arts.
I am currently a Record Label Manager for an independent label in London, but will re-locate to Manchester in 4 weeks time, where I am hoping to pursue a PGCE in higher education specialising in English.
I am an experienced singer, pianist and actress; I trained for a year at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and have toured the UK and Europe extensively with indie/pop band The Hoosiers. I have also been a session vocalist for the past 3 years and recorded with a variety of rock, pop and jazz artists.
Teaching Experience:

Theatre In Education (T.I.E.) trained, with BigFoot Theatre company, Wandsworth, London, 2004.
Taught and directed Theatre in Uganda for 3 weeks, with Act 4 Africa, Manchester.
Learning and play Support Assistant with holiday club for 3 years.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very friendly, patient and down to earth. I would like to be able to encourage and inspire individuals to recognize their strengths and achieve their full potential.
My focuses are:
- To identify areas of difficulty within Drama, Reading, Writing, Music, and general literacy, and work slowly but steadily to alleviate it.
- To build upon your strengths in key areas.
- To encourage you to realize your potential and venture forward confidently, with solid foundations to your knowledge.
My primary goal is to build upon confidence and self-awareness, and prove that what feels impossible is, in fact, possible.
