Personal Description:
I have a BA (Hons) in Drama and Writing, Masters in English:Writing Studies and And a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I am 39 yr old and a mother of four, ranging in ages 5 months to 15 yrs old. I therefore appreciate the importance of education from a personal and professional perspective.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught at numerous colleges in the fields of Performing Arts and Basic Skills and I am currently tutoring students ranging in ages from 5-18. I am also an External Verifier for Schools and colleges throughout the NorthWest.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe in applying teaching methods appropriate to the age of the student. Students need to enjoy what they are learning and therefore I prefer interactive methods in which the student develops an autonomy and becomes integral to the learning process.
