Personal Description:
I studied a Primary Teaching Degree in Australia and then taught years two and six in the lead up to SATS exams. I also have a number of other degrees and for a time I worked as a supply teacher all over London learning different teaching methods and ideas from the range of schools I worked in. I also teach dance at a number of private dancing schools.

Tutoring Approach:
Every person, both adult and child, appraoches learning differently. Some are visual learners whilst others are tactile. Some like to watch the example, then copy. For some, rote learning works best, or association games. I have encountered so many different ways in which people prefer to operate and through my experience in a wide range of schools I have learned many teaching techniques which cater for these different preferences. I like to work with a student to find their preferred and most affective method of learning. Once this is determined the results come quite quickly and the student will become confident in applying a number of key strategies which she/he knows work for her/him.
