Information About Xinran:
Personal Description:
I am Xinran, a UCL student who is studying her Mathematics with Economics degree. I am a reliable and patient person and always enjoy doing as well as teaching Maths. I obtained pretty high score in both my A-level and GCSE results. Thus, I believe I am capable of helping students to make improvement and also feel more confident about studying Maths. Moreover, my mother tongue is Mandarin,therefore, teaching Chinese is really my strong point. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Teaching Experience:
I had a volunteering tutor job in my A-level school, I taught the students from year 9&10 for about a month, and I think they quite enjoyed that. We communicated with each other in a happy atmosphere very smoothly and I made the students felt more interested in Mathematics.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching approach is very simple but useful. Classifying the questions from past paper, finding the routine for each type of problems and no need to do loads of practise. Moreover, I will do my best to help students to find the most appropriate method of studying.
