Information About Elizabeth:
Personal Description:
I am an 18 year old student at the University of York looking to tutor anyone up to GCSE standard. I feel that I am friendly, calm and can help make problems clear.
Teaching Experience:
I have worked in Alsager Youth Project in Cheshire, which gave me experience working with young people aged 11 and above. I have also worked with the Rainbow Brownies (aged 5-7) and led a few sessions focused on learning basic French and French culture.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching most subjects would be to simply reinforce what was done in class as well as establishing links between subject areas that might not have become apparant (such as how algebra can link into graphs, for example.)
For French or English as a foreign language, I would focus on making the language used seem more fluent by teaching idioms and sayings.
