Personal Description:
I am a French student, 21 years old, based in Leeds for three years from now on.
I am really interested in travelling and discovering other cultures and languages, as I have lived in 4 countries these past 3 years : France, Italy, Scotland & England.
My main qualities are to be open-minded, really sociable and enthusiastic on lots of subjects.
Teaching Experience:
I am a graduate from a French University in English studies, where I have practised translation for three years. Also, I have been tutoring French for people in Italy and Scotland while I was studying there.
Tutoring Approach:
To me, all methods of teaching differ according to the student & the level of the tutee. As I help people on languages subjects, we can have an hour of oral conversation and see where the problems with grammar or vocabulary are.
Also, if the tutee needs some help to improve his writing skills, I appeal to media such as books or articles to develop the understanding of the language with a material that the tutee is likely have somee preference for. Teaching is mostly a task of discussion with the tutee to find out which are the problems with the languages, so that we can focus on certain points and subjects to improve the level of the student.
