Personal Description:

I am a recent university graduate who would like to pass on my knowledge and successful ways of learning to others. I am patient, good humoured and enjoy working with young adults. I find I am approachable and can connect with young adults and mature student in a comfortable yet business like way that enables a constructive learning environment.
I am passionate about the environment and feel my strengths lie in my ability to inject excitement into learning. I also volunteer at an environmental awareness charity and thus am up to date with relevant political policies.



Teaching Experience:

I have taken part in tutoring school during school and have only recently turned my talents to private tutoring schemes. I feel my tutoring skills are aided by my ability to understand the problems faced by most students as I was recently experiencing the same difficulties during my educational career.



Tutoring Approach:

I use my expertise and enthusiasm for the subject to explain theories and then build upon this with examples from the curriculum. The specific ways in which I expand upon the students knowledge is dependant upon their preferred way of learning, in order to obtain the highest possible grades and understanding for the student.

Qualifications:

  • I obtained a 2.1 in Environmental Science. Expertise gained in all aspects of earth, social and atmospheric sciences.
  • I have A levels in maths, physics and history in which I recieved good grades for.
  • I have 9 GCSEs (including maths, science and English) all of which I recieved A grades for.
