Personal Description:

A stunning set of results from my 2012 AS/A2 students - 90% at A*/A grades - well done to all!
I am a qualified and experienced lecturer in Biology/Chemistry with many years of tutoring experience and some stunning results! Qualified in Biochemistry/Neurochemistry from Imperial College, London and also a postgraduate qualified lecturer. Have worked in practical Biochemistry and have taught at all levels. I can provide extensive references from my large band of very loyal and happy students who frequently return to see me years after leaving tutoring!! Am very familiar with the AQA/OCR syllabi and also teach the Welsh board syllabus. Am hugely passionate about Biology and my students tell me I pass on that enthusiasm to them along with vastly increased confidence in the subject which they previously lacked! I can assist with all UCAS applications including medical/dental applications and Oxbridge entry and have had many many successful candidates over the past few years. I am happy to offer a test session for any potential student as your choice of tutor is very important! I am oversubscribed for tutoring every year so please contact me as early as possible in the academic year to stand the best chance of getting a place! Have tutored a large number of students from Calday, West Kirby, the Wirral Grammars, Birkenhead, Neston and Queens schools and can provide references from current and ex pupils. Virtually all of my tutees have come via word of mouth referrals from previous tutees so please ask if you want references from pupils from any Wirral/Chester school. Tutoring Approach:

Very personal! Every student comes to me for a different reason. I usually do a test session first to ascertain how best the student will respond to tutoring. I mostly have word of mouth referrals year after year.
