Personal Description:

My experience gained through travelling has provided me with a strong element of independence, adventure and education. Having challenged myself has turned me into a much more confident individual and having good self confidence has also helped me win friends and influence people. It has made me more aware of my abilities and my limits all of which are invaluable qualities to have when making decisions. Logically thinking when in tricky situations and gaining the skill to fix a practical problem has given me the ability to calmly assess options, sometimes under pressure and being vital in saving time and money. I am calculated and can plan ahead in the short and long term. I persevere through hard and lonely times sticking it out and am also aware of other influences around me. I am comfortable with adapting to vast, diverse and strange environments in a variety of cultures. I have learned to tolerate situations which I don't like and become less judgmental by immersing myself whenever possible in cultures that appeal to my imagination.

Teaching Experience:

I have educated and mentored a wide variety of age groups in a mixture of diverse cultural schools and organizations. Some of the curriculums that I have designed developed and taught include pre- school, high school subjects, banking, nursing and presentation skills .These have been tailored and taught to Kindergarten children, adolescents and business professionals. In addition I have extensive experience in preparing, counselling and evaluating second language students gain access to higher/further education in western universities.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that education is the key to success for young students. As a teacher, I hope to motivate students in ascertaining their inner strengths and abilities and discovering what truly inspires them. I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to trust their own opinions, while fostering confidence in order for students to realize their full potential.

Through my experience thus far, I have found the method of facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial style of teaching. I have learned that if students construct their own learning experiences they will not only retain information longer, but they will also become more confident in their abilities. Being devoted to this assertion confirms that I have made the right career choice for myself.

I have come to realize how vital education is in the preparation for young people to achieve success in all endeavors set before them. I hope to install a love of learning and a desire for constant knowledge within each student.
