Personal Description:
I live in Exeter and I have been teaching Psychology, Greek and TEFL for the last 10 years. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy working with young people. I am always willing to help them according to their individual needs and help them achieve their true potential.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching A-Level Psychology A-Level for 10 years. I have also taught Modern Greek from Level 1 to A-Level). I used to work at Exeter College and I am currently working at City of Bristol College as a main grade lecturer and student support programme co-ordinator. I am also an assistant examiner for AQA, therefore, I have many years experience in terms of exam requirements and subject delivery. I can also provide excellent recommendations from previous and present employers.
Tutoring Approach:
As a Psychology lecturer, I am very aware of individual learning styles and needs. I try to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each student in order to help them improve in their weak areas. As an AQA examiner, I can help them achieve at the highest level, explain how exam marks are allocated and how to revise effectively. I also encourage and help each student recognise their strengths to give them the confidence they need to succeed in their exams.
