Personal Description:
Hi, my name is Julie. I have worked in the City, in the computer industry, as a primary school teacher and a stage-hand! I currently help run a business with my partner providing sound systems and staging (hence the stage-hand). I have a 16 year old son, a German Shepherd and a tortoise - but don't worry, I leave them behind when I come to you.
Teaching Experience:
I have a BEd (Hons)(Primary) and have taught in mainstream schools for 7 years. I am qualified to teach all subjects up to KS2 Level and as I have A' Levels in Maths, Further Maths & Physics, and specialised in Maths and ICT at college, I am able to teach these to a higher level.
Tutoring Approach:
I take a personal approach to tutoring - we start from what you know and work from there. If you don't understand something then it's my job to explain it differently and find a way in which you can. We are all very different and what may have worked with someone else might not be the right way for you.
