Personal Description:

I am a positive, friendly and motivated person.
I am approachable and get on with people very well, as I am always interested in what happens in the world around me.
As a teacher I enjoy my work, I enjoy helping someone learn new skills and gain new understanding, as well as learning myself through the experience. I am dedicated in what I do, reliable and driven to successfully complete something once I have started.



Teaching Experience:

Currently I am working as a Design and Technology teacher at a secondary school in West Sussex.
I have previously worked as a tutor in Germany, teaching English and Maths from Primary to A-level.
Before qualifying as a teacher I was a Teaching Assistant for students with a variety of special educational needs.



Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring is student focused, I believe strongly in personalised learning and differentiation to ensure the tutoring matches the student's individual need. By actively involving students when it comes to choice of topics and materials, I have found we can achieve the greater success. Above all as a tutor I work to be flexible, friendly and approachable.
