Tristan - Liverpool tutor
Information About Tristan:
Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic biology graduate looking to pass on my expertise and love of biology to help students reach their goals. I love to teach and I have received a lot of positive feedback from my past students.
Aside from tutoring I am in my third year of graduate medicine at Liverpool university and spend my spare time playing all manner of sports. I also play the piano, oboe and guitar.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions; I try to be as accommodating as possible and matters such as group rates can be discussed.
Teaching Experience:
I have several years experience tutoring from classroom to small group to one-to-one sessions. I have tutored biology privately in the UK, but also taught biology to prospective medical students in the U.S. for The Princeton Review.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is designed around the individual learning needs of the student. This means the style of tutoring or the material which needs to be covered is of optimum use so that students' interests are heightened and no time is wasted. With that in mind, I do like the student to take part as much as possible. I believe there is no better test for understanding than if a person can explain concepts in their own words or apply understood principles to novel situations. I also encourage any questions that the student might have.
