Information About Daniel:
Personal Description:
I am 22 years old and have recently completed a masters in theoretical physics. I'm due to start a PCGE course in September (postgraduate certificate in education) and intend to become a full time teacher after this.
Teaching Experience:
My teaching experience is mostly informal (helping friends and relatives succeed in exams), however I have spent time running an after school club - introducing pupils to science through model rocket building, as well as sitting in on classes when I was considering my PGCE.
Tutoring Approach:
With the right way of looking at a problem it becomes simple and intuitive; this cuts the amount of work needed to remember something and allows a student to apply this knowledge in new ways.
The rapport gained through individual tuition along with the flexibility it allows makes it easier to pass on this understanding, which then can be reinforced by practice and effective exam technique.
