Personal Description:
As a fully qualified secondary Maths teacher, I have been tutoring privately for a number of years with considerable success. I usually tutor in the Medway and Maidstone areas. My pupils are usually either KS3, GCSE or AS Maths (Core1 and 2) students.
I am married with 2 daughters aged 26 and 23.
Teaching Experience:
I prefer teaching on a one to one basis and I am presently providing one to one tution in Secondary schools and privately.
I have a number or years experience and would be pleased to provide references from the parents of pupils I have taught.
Tutoring Approach:
The main benefit of private one to one tutoring is that I can teach at the pace of the student. I give a pupil every opportunity to ask questions, and will go back over anything they cannot understand. I set homework after each lesson based on the topic which we have covered and will also set revision homeworks occassionally. As examinations approach I set practice examination papers and go through these with each pupil. This improves their knowledge, application and examination technique.

- PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status from Canterbury Christ Church
- Associate of the Royal College of Science
