Personal Description:

Fully CRB'd Drama and English teacher with QTS looking to offer private tuition on a one to one basis or in small groups for students of all ages up to adult. I have considerable acting experience as well as working for a successful Wolverhampton based Stage school and Youth Theatre. I am also happy to tutor for English (up to A'level).

Teaching Experience:

I have extensive school based experience in teaching English and Drama at Key Stage 3-5. I also have experience of running Drama and Performing Arts workshop sessions for both children and adults. I am very experienced in tutoring for LAMDA examinations and currently hold 100% pass rate. I am able to tutor for audition preparation and can assist with those who are looking to gain performance experience. I currently work for RSM Stage Academy- a CDET accredited stage school- as a Drama and Performance Coach. I also work as a Teacher of Drama at a West Midlands based secondary school.

Tutoring Approach:

I offer a friendly and informal approach, working at an individual pace towards realistic goals that are catered to their needs. I also encourage independent creativity with students thus allowing them to take ownership for their work. With curriculum study, I break down the subject into manageable sections and approach each with clarity and diligence. I scaffold learning with manageable and varied tasks, assuring that the student is suitably challenged and engaged.

Qualifications:

• BA hons Degree in Drama
• English, Theatre Studies and Performing Arts A' Level
• PGCE in Secondary Drama with QTS
