Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking teacher who cares about the education of the children I teach. I can adapt to different environments and can support children by helping them reach their highest learning potential.
Teaching Experience:
I gained my PGCE in Primary Education from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2001 and have taught for over 2 and half years now. I have also bolstered my classroom teaching with invaluable experience within the business sector. Prior to my PGCE I have worked with all types of children from different backgrounds in play schemes, youth centres, play groups and special needs schools.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very flexible in my approach and realise it is very important for the child to feel comfortable and confident to answr and ask questions throughout session. I like to start with mental warm ups and then teach and leaving homework to consolidate the learning from the tutoring session.
