Personal Description:

New to the York area, I am a qualified teacher (PGCE) with experience of teaching English at a range of levels, from 11-18. I am also available to work with adults who may need help with their reading and writing, as my teaching qualification is tailored to post-16 students.



Teaching Experience:

2008: Gained PGCE (Post-Compulsory Education and Training) at the University of the West of England (includes 150 hours of independent teaching experience, teaching AS and A2 English, GCSE English Fast Track, and literacy/numeracy at a local FE college)
2008-present: experience of day-to-day supply work in the Bristol area (teaching a range of subjects and ages as required)



Tutoring Approach:

Individualised approach: student-centred, taking into consideration learning styles, focused on improving confidence. Wherever possible, I will utilise your interests to personalise the lessons.
