Personal Description:

I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Japanese Studies (major:Japanese
literature) from Warsaw University and with a Master's Degree in Far East Studies from Jagiellonian University (major:Chinese). I spent two years at the universities in Japan- first I received a scholarship from the Japanese Government at Nara University of Education, and later I managed to get a private scholarship from Momoyama University in Osaka. I have a very good knowledge of Japanese language, literature and culture. I have also a pre-intermediate knowledge of Chinese language.

I'm an open-minded and enthusiastic person, who loves teaching and meeting new people.
I'm also into photography and travelling.

Teaching Experience:

I graduated from the University last year, so I don't have that much of a teaching experience, however I was teaching Japanese and Chinese in Poland as a private tutor and also, I worked for a few months as a teaching assistant in the department of Japanese Studies at the University of Iceland.

Tutoring Approach:

Before I charge students I will conduct an assessment of their needs and type of lessons they want to have. Then a plan will be suggested and details of charges and times will be agreed. My approach to tutoring is that consistency is key. Motivation is another key aspect and the tutors role includes motivating their student.
I also think that studying should be fun, so I always try to make my lesson as interesting and entertaining as possible.
