Personal Description:
I am an Argenitne/ German citizen and have studied at Tufts University (Massachusetts, U.S.A.) and graduated with a double major in Political Science and History with high honors, and then went on to pursue a Masters Degree in History in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have recently moved to Brighton and would love to teach. I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and I believe any opportunity to teach as well as to learn from students is valuable and enriching to both tutors and students.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught debating and public speaking, EFL, Spanish, History and Politics at various different environments and levels. I have taught in Kindergarten, Secondary Schools, and College, and I am passionate about teaching. I have coached the Argentine National Debating Team for the Worlds Schools Debating Championship for three years, and I have been a teaching assistant and professor for History and Political Science at an American University in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Tutoring Approach:
I am passionate and proactive about teaching. I believe one of the most important things is for the student to feel motivated and enjoy learning, so I will always encourage students to be active in their learning and share their interests and ideas beyond the formal class contents.
