Tutoring Approach:

I really enjoy tutoring! I have a genuine love for all of the subjects I teach and so my lessons are full of that same enthusiasm and sense of fun!

I always carry out an informal skills and needs assessment before starting the lessons. This means that I can find out what level the student is at, specific strengths and weaknesses, specific aims etc. Then I can tailor the lessons around the student.
Its also important to clarify realistic aims right from the start, so that everyone is clear about what to expect from the lessons.
I also do periodic reviews of how the student is progressing, making sure I am teaching in a way that suits the student, and covering the right material.
