Alice - West Sussex tutor

Information About Alice:

Personal Description:

I am an undergraduate theology student at the University of Oxford. I am looking to tutor someone during the summer holidays between the beginning of July and the end of September 2009. I am enthusiastic and enjoy watching people make progress as well as being patient when there is a topic someone finds difficult.

Teaching Experience:

2007 - 2008: full time volunteer literacy tutor for 'Springboard for Children'
2008 - Private literacy tutor for primary school aged child
2008 - Private GCSE English tutor

Tutoring Approach:

I am flexible with what and how I teach since I see that everyone is different and has different needs and different methods that suit them best. I find that it is very important to make the lessons enjoyable at the same time as seeing how important it is that the lessons are structure in order to make steady progress.
