Information About Mark:

Personal Description:

My name's Mark, I'm 24 and I'm from the beautiful city of York in England. I am a PostGraduate Student studying at the University of Aberdeen where I studied for my MA Hons in Gaelic and Hispanic studies. I am now pursuing an M.Litt in Irish and Scottish studies with a view to doing a PhD.

Teaching Experience:

I have informally tutored fellow students throughout my University career. I am also the Gaelic Officer for the University's Celtic Society where I provide the oportunity for fellow students to practice their spoken language skills in an informal setting.

Tutoring Approach:

I've been a student of languages ever since I was at Primary School and have been taught, myself, with verious methods. I would come up with a tutoring style to fit your own needs and goals, but always maintain a fun and enthusiastic approach - that's what it's all about. Languages and other cultures are my passion and so I can teach you not just the Language but also give you an insight into the literature and culture of the country as well, through what I have learnt myself through the years, and my own experiences.
