Personal Description:
I am a retired teacher with many years experience at all levels of primary school. In addition to teaching all traditional areas of the curriculum I also taught German for nine years to P4 and P5, French for six years to P6 and P7 and Spanish for three years to P1 - P4.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught all primary stages in a wide range of schools in many different social environments. I also taught in secondary school for a time and have tutored adult learners. I have a science degree and am qualified to teach modern languages in primary school.
Tutoring Approach:
Each child deserves to be treated as an individual and to have teaching which is tailored to his or her needs. I believe that I have a friendly, relaxed approach and my aim is to put a child at ease. Every child has abilities and qualities which should be allowed to develop.
