Personal Description:
I am a native Spanish speaker. I am Dr. of Chemistry and I was a professor in the Havana University, Cuba, for 30 years; during that time I was a head of Physical-Chemistry Department for 10 years and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry for 7 years.
I am living in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear since 2008 and I am teaching Spanish and Chemistry as a tutor in my house.
Teaching Experience:
I am a native Spanish speaker and I was a Chemistry professor for 30 years at the University. I have vast experience teaching and have adapted this experience successfully to teach Spanish as a foreign language in the UK.
Tutoring Approach:
I retired from my University in October 2008 to come to the UK with my English husband. I began to teach as a tutor in the UK in 2009. I adapt my lessons to student's needs and interests.
I have experience helping students to prepare themselves for their exams. I have also experience teaching adults who want to study Spanish for personal purposes.
