Information About Danielle:


Personal Description:

I graduated from Salford University with a 2.1 honours degree in Spanish, Italian and German. During my degree, I lived in Spain, Germany and Italy working as a translator and in customer service. After graduating, I completed a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and currently teach Spanish, French and Italian in a Secondary School. I enjoy working with my pupils and strive to make sure every child reaches their full potential.



Teaching Experience:

I have 2 years teaching experience in Secondary schools, teaching German, Spanish, French and Italian. I also have tutored adults on an individual basis in Spanish and German. At present, I visit local primary schools to teach Spanish.



Tutoring Approach:

I believe pupils learn best when they enjoy language learning, therefore I aim to make sure every lesson is fun and informative. It is important to me that pupils also learn about the culture of the country, and I feel this often makes languages learning more exciting and gives pupils a real insight into how they can use the language after school. I believe in today's age it is very important to use IT in lessons, and everyone of my lessons is prepared on power point, so pupils can use the lesson to refer back to when completing work at home. I also feel pupils learn best when they can practice language through games, and have a variety of on-line and paper games for pupils to use.
