Personal Description:

I was first encouraged to go into tutoring by teachers at my school during my GCSE's when I was asked to help children in year 7 who had fallen slightly behind catch up. I enjoyed this experience so much that I decided to continue as a private tutor after I left school. I soon built a strong rapport within my local area of Birmingham. I have now moved to Manchester for university and I would like to continue to help children keep their grades high.
I am a young tutor (now aged 20) and therefore I can easily relate to students. I know every child is different so I tailor my teaching style to suit each child perfectly. I always try to bring an element of fun to each lesson to keep the child engaged for the entire hour. Children love to learn you just have to teach them correctly.



Teaching Experience:

I first started tutoring at school helping children in lower years catch up. I then began private tutoring at the age of 16 and continued for 3 years when I moved to Manchester. I also worked with a company called future 4 Science who perform scientific after school workshops which is where I acquired my CRB. I have always had a passion for teaching children.



Tutoring Approach:

My approach diffrers from child to child as all children learn diffrently. I feel its unfair to use the same teaching techniques on all of them so I would spend the first leasson trying a few techniques out to see which one there response to the most positively.
