Personal Description:
I am Nomie. I am 23. I am French. I studied Spanish and English at the University of Angers, in France. I have a Bachelor cum Laude specialized in language, literature and civilization in Spanish and English. I love travelling so I need to speak 3 or 4 languages at least. I like visiting my friends, i like talking about whatever, just meeting new people. My hobbies are reading, watching movies in cinema, dancing, listening pop music and playing guitar and tennis. At the moment, i am living in Manchester to have a new experience and to perfect my English.
Teaching Experience:
In France, I am studying to be a French teacher abroad so I took pedagogy and didactic classes in my university. In 2008, I was in Argentina to teach French to students from High School. I stayed there 8 months, with 15 teaching hours a week. I did phonetic and culture lessons. I also helped the teacher in teaching some grammar and conjugation. I had a very good feeling with the students.
I also gave English private classes to 2 students during 6 months in France.
Moreover, I have been a teaching assistant in France with 2 little girls for 6 months. I helped them to eat, to write and to integrate them in the group. It was a very nice experience and i saw how to teach in primary school.
Tutoring Approach:
In my classes, i want to make a mix of oral and written. The speaking part is really important nowadays so I want the student participate. It depends of what the student want. I can adapt my class to each student. He only has to tell me what he wants to learn (more grammar or more oral, or both)
