Personal Description:

I graduated from York University in 2004 with a 2(1) in Mathematics. I am currently working in retail but am looking to get into teaching/tutoring. I am free most evenings and weekends and happy to travel or tutor in my own home.

Teaching Experience:

I have only just started tutoring but am enjoying it and looking to increase my client list. I have always been involved in training at work and have trained people of all ages and abilities.
I also currently volunteer at an after school study centre with children ages 9-14.

Tutoring Approach:

I am very flexible. Happy to work to each students needs, in terms of timing, session structure and topics covered. I like to work through lots of example questions as I feel this aids understanding and is excellent preparation for exams.
I am very patient and approachable, happy for people to contact me if they only need a one off meeting to clarify a particular subject.
