Personal Description:
I am a native Russian speaker. I love music and working with children. I like travelling and corresponding with my friends around the world. I adore animals especially puppies and kittens. My ambition is to build a successful teaching career.
Teaching Experience:
Teaching has always been my passion. I have a broad experience and enjoy teaching students of different age, background and ability. At the moment I am working as a teaching assistant for various education agencies on supply in primary and secondary schools in Manchester. I am looking to start a PGCE course in Secondary Music in September, 2009.
Tutoring Approach:
I always tailor a unique teaching strategy for each and every one of my students following the assessment of their needs and abilities. I employ a friendly approach and include fun activities and games (especially with children) in order to maintain focus throughout lessons. I am prepared to teach my subjects both as a hobby and a serious endeavour. In a latter case I can be quite strict, with attention to detail, but fair. I am happy to work towards ABRSM theory and practical exams of any grade.
