Personal Description:

I am a fully qualified teacher working in a High School in Inverness. I have a years teaching experience and 3 years tutoring experience. My current pass rate at intermediate 2 and higher levels is very high. I am a member of the PVG scheme and disclosure checked.

I have also tutored 10 other pupils before. Two of these pupils were people I knew from school, and the remainder are people I have worked with whilst at university and during my probation year.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that at the start of each session it is important for the pupils to know exactly what they are going to be doing that session and then at the end of the session the pupil can evaluate for themselves if we have reached the goal. I also feel it is important for the pupil to feel like we are a team and not teacher and pupil. I found that in the past this has helped the pupil feel like we are sharing our knowledge.
