Information About Kiyama:
Personal Description:
I currently hold a Bachelors Degree in Accounting( First Class). I am an ACCA Affiliate doing the final stage to gain the membership. I have performed very well
academically graduating top ten in my batch in 2008. I have worked in an audit firm
for three months which has given me an exposure to the accounting world. I also taught
several accounting courses during my university time. As a person, I am driven, adapt easily and am keen to take the initiative which I believe
are important success factors for this position. I have engaged with individuals from
various cultural backgrounds in my university when we had to work as a team for several
projects
Teaching Experience:
I have been a teaching assistant in my university for 3 years. I have tutored students for ACCA courses F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6. As well as AAT students.
Taught over 30 students on an ongoing private basis with a high success rate.
I have also attended several teaching skills courses and attended seminars from reputable institutions such as Kaplan financial UK
Outside of academics, I am passionate about debating and teaching and regularly combine these two passions by coaching the younger generation of my University. I have represented Malaysia at multiple World Universities Debating Championships, the flagship event of world debating.
I taught various accounting courses and public speaking courses during my university such as presentation skills as a Co Curricular course.
Tutoring Approach:
Firstly, the students needs have to be understood. and then the tutoring phase will carefully outlined and tutees will be taught according to their needs. Questions will be encouraged throughout the session as these are important for higher understanding.
