Information About Marie:
Personal Description:
My name is Marie Taylor and i am currently a PGCE student, training to be a Secondary School class music teacher.
I am offering tuition in a range of musical areas, including:
Young/Beginner Piano (Up to grade 3 ABRSM)
Music theory (Up to grade 5 ABRSM)
GCSE music tuition
Playing the recorder

Teaching Experience:
I have had various teaching experience as part of my University Degree and my teacher training course, including volunteering as a reading helper at a local primary school and currently teaching 50% of the music timetable at a local secondary school.
I currently have 2 piano students, both young beginner players.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is simply to cater to the needs and interests of the individual pupil, and to make lessons as fun and as varied as possible. I take a very friendly, laid back approach and let my pupils progress at a level they are comfortable with.

- First Class degree in music and education
- Grade 6 ABRSM music theory (currently studying grade 7)
