Personal Description:
I am a 19 year old currently in my second year of Glasgow University studying for a joint honours in Maths and History. As I am only two years out of high school, I am very familiar with the syllabus of both subjects and my relative youth should not be seen as a disadvantage. I am a responsible, enthusiastic person with a real drive and desire to achieve and am confident that I could help others achieve their goals as well.
Teaching Experience:
As a senior in high school I tutored younger pupils in Maths and occasionally helped as a classroom assistant, giving me experience in both one-to-one and group tutoring.
Tutoring Approach:
I would first discern the main problems the pupil in understanding the material, and if need be, go back to basics to correct this. I would also try to create a positive environment for the pupil so they may be confident enough to overcome any difficulties they may have without fear.
I would teach the pupil to understand the subject instead of memorising it, allowing the pupil to tackle the subject more confidently.

- Advanced Highers in Math(A) and History(B).
- I have also completed 6 highers with an A in both History and Maths.
