Personal Description:

Originally from London I have lived in Scotland since 1997. Studying French and German Language and Literature at Glasgow University (gaining an MA (Hons)), I spent a year abroad in Germany. On graduating, I worked at IBM in Greenock for a year before returning to University to study Law. On graduating I studied the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and decided to pursue a much sought after career in teaching. In 2008 I began the PGDE at Jordanhill, University of Strathclyde.
My languages are fluent to business level. I have used my languages in asset management, debt collection and customer accounting.



Teaching Experience:

I have taught English and French from ages 14-45 in Germany, and am currently teaching Secondary School pupils from 11-16 whilst studying on the PGDE.



Tutoring Approach:

I have an inclusive approach to tutoring, engaging the learner in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, each having an equal weight. I develop my own materials and am well prepared for each lesson.
