Personal Description:

Graduated with a Master's degree in Engineering from top-rated French specialist school, Ecole des Mines. I offer Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry tuition to A-Level standard as well French. Experienced in teaching both in a group and on an individual basis, I offer interactive and intensive lessons that are designed around the student's particular needs.

I have a valid CRB disclosure.



Teaching Experience:

I am currently tutoring various students in science on an individual basis.

I worked part time for international language school 'Global LT' as a French tutor. I
taught both business and conversational French.

I also worked as a part time mathematics tutor for remedial class agency 'Completude'. I experienced teaching in a group and on an individual basis.

While I was studying I was also member of the 'E=(CM)^2' project which had to develop scientific interest in primary school pupils, particularly in the field of electricity.



Tutoring Approach:

My idea about teaching revolves around understanding coming from within the student, and not from their teacher. I believe that the effectiveness of my teaching is dependent on what I elicit from my student by asking questions. Their understanding must be based on what they already know.

I also believe that any lesson must be rigid but redesigned and reinvented depending on the person who is being taught.
