Information About Louise:
Personal Description:
My name is Louise, I'm 23 and am currently training to become a secondary school maths teacher. I have a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the university of Nottingham. A large part of this degree involves applying mathematics to practical problems.
Teaching Experience:
I'm comfortable teaching groups of people and working one on one with a student. I have taught maths in schools as part of my teachers training for the past 4 months, and have tutored GSCE students before whilst I was studying for my degree.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach would depend entirely on the students needs. I am a fan of learning maths through activities, games and practical application. However, if a tutee prefers to work in another way, then I can adapt my teaching styles to suit them.
I would be happy to teach one person, or a small group of people. The same hourly rates apply to both.
I would be more than willing to teach maths alongside school study, as revision before an exam, or to someone who just wishes to become better at maths and numeracy.
