Personal Description:
I am a confident, enthusiastic individual who has a love for learning and tries, through their teaching, to inspire others to enjoy learning too. I am more than willing to try new tactics to help individuals learn in a way suited to their capabilities. I hold a degree in English and Philosophy and have experience working with Special needs children. I am reliable and mature, but able to create a rapport with people of any age and from any background. I speak Urdu, Punjabi, Turkish and French to a good level and would be willing to work with people whose first language is not English.
Teaching Experience:
I currently work as a learning support assistant in a local high school, working within the classroom to assist students. I have worked with children aged 9-11 and 4-10. I also have experience tutoring, having tutored 5 different individuals (aged 17-40) whilst at university.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is flexible, I am here to help my students and will focus on areas they feel they need help with. I am more than willing to try different means of teaching if it helps a student. I am respectful and dedicated, will always be on time and will deliver to the best of my ability.
