Personal Description:
I am currently working after graduating from university with a degree in Chemistry.
Teaching Experience:
Over the years I have helped my younger sister, my cousin and their friends with their Science, Maths and French GCSE work and revision. Whilst at University we also had to help mentor younger students and help them with their Chemistry work.
Tutoring Approach:
When I was studying for my science and maths exams, I also had tutors, so I have experience in what is required of a tutor. I know that often a friendly, unpatronising and supportive way of explaining something, in a slightly different way, can make all the difference in understanding and being confident with a topic. As such, my approach is to be directed by the student and the areas that they want to concentrate on and help them gain more confidence and knowledge in.
