Personal Description:
I have tutored many children and young people and have enjoyed seeing progress. Parents and children have been pleased with the changes they have made.
I am friendly and understanding but able to set and maintain high expectations. I have a great deal of experience of teaching those with additional needs and have an encouraging and empathic manner.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught in a wide variety of settings including Primary and Secondary schools and FE. I am currently involved in Community Education.
I am also interested in teaching adults. I could help improve English and I have a TEFL Certificate.
Tutoring Approach:
I am friendly but professional. I would assess the need for extra help and agree on a programme of study. I would inform the student regularly of his/her progress.
I could employ many strategies to achieve success.
I have been a tutor in the past and the learners have quickly benefitted.
