Information About Dee:
Personal Description:
I am a 23 year old Irish girl in my third year of an honours degree in Zoology in the University of Aberdeen. Biology and any other subjects to do with the environment are my passion and my ambition is to be a university lecturer and academic writer. I have loved all things science and natural world since I was a child and I find great joy in teaching others about the amazing world around them. I have a high standard of English and work well with young people of all ages.
Teaching Experience:
I do not have official experience in tutoring but I did tutor other students in my biology class in school. I have volunteering experience with the environmental group ECO-UNESCO in Dublin - work included giving workshops to school children and teenagers. I was also involved in writing, researching and editing environmental information packs.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a very 'common sense', logical person. I am enthusiastic about the subjects I study and my passion is the passage of knowledge. I have great patience and have am very skilled in communication.
