Personal Description:

I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I came to England in December 2007 to join my husband whom I married in January 2008. Other than teaching I spend my time gardening and singing in a choir.



Teaching Experience:

Teacher training for primary, secondary and continuing education courses of study has made me familiar with the needs of students as well as with the educational system both at home and abroad (IGCSE preparation and Cambridge PET, FCE and CAE) As a teacher I've also learnt to be patient and clear thinking.
My teaching experience has brought me into contact with people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds.

I also took some teaching training courses such as New Trends and Teaching Young Learners (Embassy CES - Hastings) as part of my personal- and professional- plan of surpassing myself.



Tutoring Approach:

While I was doing my teacher training one of the subjects was Portuguese - as a Foreign Language. I'd always thought Spanish and Portuguese were quite similar but little did I know it was going to be that hard. After a year of trying hard and with the help of our teacher I realized what a student must feel when faced with such a challenge.
Teaching is what I am; it defines me as a person. I find it demanding but highly rewarding; I think that is why I've chosen this profession.
