Personal Description:
I am a full time teacher, just moved to Sheffield to a school where I am coordinating maths throughout the school. At present I am teaching Year 2 but have taught from year 2 up to year 6, coordinating SAT's in year 6 for 4 years in a primary school just outside of York. I am offering tuition in either Maths, English or Science. I am willing to travel to the house for tutoring.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught for 8 years and I am now part of the leadership team in my school coordinating numeracy. I started out in year 2/3 for 4 years and spent the last 4 years in year 5 and 6. I have vast experience in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 SAT's and teaching a variety of subjects. I have recently moved to Sheffield to continue coordinating mathematics and now teach year 2- Due to me being a teacher I have been CRB checked.
Tutoring Approach:
I think it is extremely important to make learning fun and exciting for the children and ensure it is applicable to the child's learning needs.
