Jack - Camden Town tutor

Information About Jack:

Personal Description:

I studied Natural Sciences at Selwyn College, Cambridge, where I received my BA (Hons) and MSci in Experimental and Theoretical Physics. The main areas that I've worked on have been particle physics, and applying physics and mathematical techniques to biology and medicine. I am currently worked on a PhD at UCL.

Teaching Experience:

I have experience teaching Physics in a well known Independent School. I have taught Physics to children of ages from 13-18, including the new GCSE Gateway syllabus. In terms of Sixth Form teaching, I have experience of both the traditional A-level course and the International Baccalaureate (IB), which is beginning to be favoured by many Independent Schools.
I am also an Examiner and Team Leader for the OCR GCSE Science exam paper.

Tutoring Approach:

I am available for tutoring, either to give extra support for exam preparation, or to help give extra confidence in the subject by going over lesson material, completing practice questions together and covering general Physics background knowledge.
