Personal Description:

I am 25 year old graduate of Cambridge University with a degree in Social and Political Sciences, specialising in Revolutionary Theory and Politcal Thought. After working as a senior copywriter for a marketing agency, I chose to move back to Cambridge to work full time as a freelance writer and private tutor.

I am friendly, patient and approachable with a knack for explaining complex issues in the simplest ways possible.

Teaching Experience:

I started doing private tuition last year and have since helped a number of students with a range of academic issues from A-level tuition to exam technique and confidence building. I have also helped a number of students with Oxbridge entry including mock interviews.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to take a student focussed approach to teaching. I am aware that all students learn successfully in different ways and private tuition allows this to be achieved.

After an initial tutorial where we concentrate on what the student would like to focus on, how long they have until their exam and their ability, I put together a unique work programme to play to their specific strengths.

Not only do we ensure that the knowledge base is sound, I spend time concentrating on exam technique, so that the student knows exactly how to apply the knowledge to answer specific questions.

• BA(Hons) Social & Political Sciences, Cambridge
• 4 grade 'A' A levels: history, politics, religious studies, general studies
