Personal Description:

My interest in French language dates back to my years in high school, where I excelled in French. My strong foundation in French gave me the necessary skills to test out of the beginning French courses at the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska in Lublin. When I began my undergraduate career, I've been given the opportunity to increase my interest and knowledge in French. While studying for my bachelor's degree, I took a variety of courses that provided me with a well-rounded education. I earned my BA in French in 2007. In the end of my BA course I passed my final exam in field of literature. During my course I had the opportunity to spend some time in France. This experience allowed me to improve my French while at the same time mature as individual. I've also had the possibility to undergo the following placements: observation placement on the second year in Primary School no. 7 with integration classes and pedagogical placement on the third year in three types of school: Primary School, Gymnasium and Secondary School in Lublin. I also achieved my BA degree in Tourism at an Academy of Theology and Humanity Studies, which taught me a great deal about Middle Eastern countries, of their historical importance to many religious and the modern day conflict brought on because of this importance. Moreover, during these years I visited a number of European countries, learning about history, geography and politics. I undertook a Pre-Masters course at UCB in Birmingham, which I finished this year.
One of the things that I am proud of is the voluntary translation from Polish to French which I have made for one of Polish websites. In the end of my BA degree I have wrote a dissertation which has 151 pages where I proved my curiosity. I can provide it as the pdf. document if needed.

Teaching Experience:

I've had the possibility to undergo the following placements: observation placement on the second year in Primary School no. 7 with integration classes and pedagogical placement on the third year in three types of school: Primary School, Gymnasium and Secondary School in Lublin. During my placement, I got acquainted with the organization of work in primary, gymnasium and secondary schools. I broadened my abilities in lesson planning and acquired experience in conducting classes. During the discussion with tutor I was able to analyze teacher's work and pupils' reactions. I acquired abilities to analyze my own work and its results. For each lesson I prepared a detailed synopsis approved by the tutor and I prepared teaching materials for the lessons. After each lesson I prepared commentaries to it. After each stage of the placement I prepared detailed reports which I presented for evaluation. I also have an experience in personal tutions in Poland. Moreover I had an opportunity to teach at Westminster School in West Bromwich. This work allows me to get familiar with English educational system.

Tutoring Approach:

As a teacher I hope to motivate students in ascertaining their inner strengths and abilities and discovering what truly inspires them. I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to trust their own opinions while fostering confidence in order for students to realize their full potential.
Through my teaching experience thus far I have learned that if students construct their own learning experiences they will not only retain information longer but they will also become more confident in their abilities. Being devoted to this assertion confirms that I have made the right career choice for myself. I love working with children and I'm trying to be a positive influence in their lives. I have an experience working within every Key Stage.
