Personal Description:
I love to travel and learn new languages, along with the European languages I have formally studied, I also speak some Hebrew and Hindi!
My other hobbies and interests include creative writing, drawing, taking photographs, swimming, cycling, walking in nature and meditation.
Teaching Experience:
Over the years, I have taught a wide range of subjects, from French to meditation in a number of different contexts to people of all ages.
More recently I trained and qualified as a primary school teacher and worked in an alternative independent school with an open-ended and child-led approach to learning.
Tutoring Approach:
My experience as both a teacher and a learner have shown me that people learn in a variety of ways.
I therefore endeavour to find ways of working together with my students that will most suit their individual needs and help them to gain confidence and understanding in the subject area in which they need support.
My approach is friendly and interactive. I feel that establishing a positive two-way relationship between teacher and pupil is the most important starting point. From there we can find the most effective way of moving forward with the student's learning.
